Wishes Fulfilled by Dr. Wayne Dyer


Currently I am reading this book about  manifesting and I am trying to wrap my head about the concepts presented. I love learning about different ways of thinking and all things spiritual.

The book is teaching me how to tap into my subconscious mind by saying only what it is that I desire as if it’s already true each day and also at night before nodding off to sleep. I have to say I have been sleeping better! I have a bad habit of reviewing the days problems before sleep, and according to the book, that trains your mind to stay focused on what it is that you don’t want!

Also I am finding as I think through the material and practice its principles I’m becoming more aware of self talk. Prompting me to take action in changing any thoughts that don’t align with my goals or don’t come from a place of love.

As always, Dr. Dyer encourages me to stay connected to God and remember that I am here to serve others!

Kombucha is Ready


Well it’s officially ready!

It is so yummy! I had more fizz this time than anytime I have made it in the past. This was my first 2nd ferment. I am really surprised by how apple it tastes. I only added 2-3 oz per jar. I know from fermenting veggies in the past that putting any spice or herb in the jars intensifies a great deal so I will need to remember that when making future batches!

The hubby approves as well! I have a couple more jars in the pantry that I didn’t think had enough fizz and I am planning to leave overnight to see what happens. Then on to the next brew!  I am sure this batch won’t be around long…

Sprouted Grain Bread




Trying out some new bread this week! I’m so excited about the protein count and clean ingredients it’s made from. It was located in the freezer section at the local grocery store but I found a link on Amazon that allows you to buy in bulk.


We had some this morning in the toaster with some natural chicken sausage and it was so good! Chewy and nutty! Sometimes you just need something new, to keep meals fun.

Has anyone else tried this brand? Or sprouted grain bread in general?
